Fabulous Indian Wedding in Aurora

Namrita and John met at the University of Chicago, where they shared a physics class as medical students. Later, John moved to New York, where he studied for his Masters in Education. Fortunately, after a year or two of "long-distance" love, Namrita was able to follow to pursue her residency there. He popped the question on a Long Island Sound beach with a bottle of champagne under the stars. And, they decided to get married in Chicago. The color palette for their wedding at the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple Panchavati Gazebo was inspired by a shopping spree in Delhi and Jaipur, with earthy hues of rust, eggplant, mehendi green, and mustard. The festive reception at Fountain Blue Banquets featured grapefruit margaritas, blueberry mojitos, and a variety of delicious North Indian dishes. It was a warm and joyful atmosphere, filled with tradition, that truly reflected the love of this wonderful couple. See it all at Dana Ann Photography and The Knot. What a fabulous day!
