Rachel and Eric met in graduate school at DePaul University and wanted their wedding to be simple yet elegant. They selected historic Medinah Country Club, with its marble columns, for both the ceremony and reception. The reception was decorated with clusters of white roses in glass vessels surrounded by shimmering candlelight. “I always thought that less is kind of more, so I definitely wanted just simple and elegant” said Rachel. Guests said farewell to the happy couple at the end of the evening with sparklers gently lighting their way, as Rachel and Eric headed off to New York and later Thailand.
