Featured on Chicago Splash, Elizabeth and Ethan's May wedding was simply incredible. From the beautiful ceremony at Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Glenview to the amazing reception at Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield, everything was flawless. Elizabeth is a fine-art appraiser. So, it's no surprise that her theme was Inspired by French and English gardens. The white, ivory, pale blue, and lavender floral designs included a gorgeous archway adorning the church entrance, garden planter boxes filled with lush blooms, a shower of rose petals as the couple exited the church, botanical accents intertwined in the reception chandeliers, and even a huge floral wall for a photo booth. "Our photographer created a guest book with images (from the photo both)," said Elizabeth. "We had so many that we ran out of pages."
The food was incredible, too. There was a five-tier vanilla wedding cake with white chocolate buttercream frosting, served with vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate and raspberry sauce, and exceptional music from both a string quartet and the Chris Sarlas Orchestra. But, the highlight of the evening was when the bride's triplet brothers took the stage with their band, "Triple A." Guests traded their shoes for "flip flop" sandals and danced the night away. Did we mention the late night hot dog and beer-boiled Bratwurst bar? How about the cinnamon and ricotta doughnut holes with hot fudge? Everyone had so much fun! But, the real treat for us was just getting to know this great couple. Congratulations Elizabeth and Ethan. We think you're incredible!
