Oak Brook Country Club Wedding

We can't say enough about this stunning couple, their gorgeous Oak Brook wedding, and their incredible photos by Misha Media. Jennefer and Alan's nuptial featured a traditional outdoor Western ceremony plus a Lao ceremony known as Baci. Observed at important occasions to maintain "balance and harmony," Baci typically features silver trays of fresh flowers, fruit, and bamboo sticks draped with white cotton or silk threads. The tradition includes tying one of these threads on the bride and groom's wrists as a symbol of continuity, community, and permanence. Jennifer wore a traditional Lao dress, as well as two beautiful white gowns. Her bridal bouquet by Phillip's Flowers included white Casablanca lilies, purple mini calla lilies, and green cymbidium orchids. The weather was picture perfect for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony and reception at Butterfield Country Club, where table decorations included tropical orchids submerged in glass cylinders and crowned with floating candles. The day was filled with friends, family, love, laughter, prayers, and joy. Thank you, Jennefer and Alan, for letting us be a part of it.
