Carina and Xander met at Marquette University and began dating their freshman year.  After graduation, she started teaching 6th grade in Chicago's western suburbs, and he pursued a master's degree at Notre Dame then medical school in Nebraska.  Their relationship continued to flourish.  "Five years since our first date, Xander flew to Chicago for the weekend," the couple wrote.  "We took the train downtown and went to the Art Institute of Chicago. After the museum we began walking around Millennium Park where Xander stopped and proposed, steps away from the Bean."  Their late December wedding at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago was magical, with sparkling Christmas trees and colorful poinsettias as a backdrop for their rich magenta, rose, and pink bouquets.  Their reception at the Hilton Chicago was even more amazing, with elegant alternating centerpieces and romantic candlelight adorning the majestic Hilton ballroom.  Friends and family celebrated the night away with great food, great music, and an awesome dance floor.  What an incredible Chicago celebration!  Thank you Andre and LaCour Images for sharing these beautiful images, and congratulations Carina and Xander.  You are a pure delight, and we wish you a lifetime of love and joy together.
