Something Borrowed, Something Blue

Combining elegant navy blue, vintage silver accents, and shades of soft pink and magenta, Stephanie and John's wedding was sophisticated and stylish with a warm, lighthearted touch. As many of the guests were flying in from out of town, the couple selected St. Eugene Catholic Church near O'Hare, the groom's family's parish, for their ceremony. The reception was at the outdoor patio and recently renovated ballroom of the nearby Crowne Plaza O'Hare. The bride looked amazing in a stunning gown by Justin Alexander. "I remember getting ready to walk down the aisle and it finally hitting me that I was going to marry my best friend," she later commented. The couple's wedding flowers included garden peonies, a variety of roses, and gorgeous white hydrangeas. "The flowers were important to me because I wanted to bring a fun splash of pink into the navy wedding decor," said Stephanie. "We used a wide range of pink shades and a variety of flowers to create a beautiful and fun look." The elegant wedding cake by Oak Mill Bakery echoed the navy and pink theme deliciously. "If you get caught up in the details, you will miss all the fun!"
