Brooke and Neil began dating in Chicago, but it was during a cooking class in the Tuscan countryside that their relationship really began to bloom. “I was chopping onions and literally couldn’t stop crying for over an hour, and the two of us just laughed all day,” she remembers. “It could have been awkward but instead was something fun and silly that brought us closer together." Neil's easy going personality, Brooke's sense of humor, and their common love for adventure was the perfect recipe. He proposed at Chicago's Museum of Contemporary art, and they tied the knot six months later at the historic Kimpton Gray Hotel on Monroe. The floral decorations featured roses, peonies, hydrangea, tulips, seeded eucalyptus, Italian Ruscus, and dramatic golden branches. But, the beautiful bride and Neil's daughter, Grace, definitely stole the show. What a beautiful family and a gorgeous wedding!
