When Elizabeth and Brian tied the knot, it was a classic Chicago wedding, and Wedding Guide Chicago covered it beautifully with photos by Brian Kinyon Photograpy. The couple met in an office cubicle they shared for one week, when Elizabeth began her first job and Brian was leaving for medical school Four years later, she said, "Yes," surrounded by candles, rose petals, and notes Brian prepared to chronicle their romance. They exchanged vows at St. James Cathedral in downtown Chicago, with Elizabeth wearing a full-length, off the shoulder gown worn by her mother and carrying a romantic bouquet of white peonies and garden roses designed by Phillip's. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a Michigan Avenue reception at the stylish Park Hyatt Chicago, with table side service and floral decor featuring assorted glass and crystal vessels overflowing with amorous pink and white blooms. The couple's multi-tier mocha and chocolate wedding cake was adorned with butter cream frosting, scatter pearls and flowers. As a special surprise, guests departed with monogrammed gluten-free cookies. A tasteful blend of old and new, meticulously coordinated by Tying the Knot, Elizabeth and Brian's wedding was the epitome of Chicago style. "Having everyone who is close to us together for one night," said Elizabeth, "was truly the most special thing we could have asked for." We couldn't agree more.
