A mutual friend and a love of running brought this sweet couple together. They met in Milwaukee, and their relationship grew from there. As Chicago area natives living in the suburbs, they decided to have an intimate outdoor ceremony near family and friends at the Hilton Chicago Northbrook. With colorful florals, an ombre petal aisle created just for them, and tasteful personal touches throughout, Melissa and Andy celebrated their love on a beautiful August day. It was a fabulous affair, with Melissa's cousin providing hair and makeup services, her cousin's fiance as photographer, and the friend who introduced them as the officiant. The reception was so much fun, too, with glow-sticks, a photo booth, and late night snacks for all.
